Globe Life Field... Some Fun in the Heart of Texas

There are only eight days left in September, and that can only mean one thing playoff baseball is on its way.

Last week Major League Baseball announced that The World Series will be played entirely at the Texas Rangers’ new ballpark in Arlington, Texas, and Major League Baseball hopes fans can attend.

Globe Life Field, the new home of the Texas Rangers,’ was supposed to be filled with fans all season long, but because of the pandemic, only cardboard fans are enjoying this new ballpark. While this new ballpark, which has been under construction since 2017, was set to debut in March fans have been forced to wait.

This new and ultramodern ballpark is one of a kind. When fans can attend a game at Globe Life Field, they will notice the amenities that will enhance the fan experience.

This new ballpark that cost $1.1 billion to build: sits on 13 acres of land and holds 40,000 fans. On top of that, the main feature of this ballpark is the new retractable roof designed to keep the Texas heat out of the stadium, and it takes 15 minutes for the roof to open and close.

This spectacular stadium offers gourmet food and lots of it. This new ballpark will have 47 concession stands, 20 bars, and 11 kitchens. Some of the new food options include: 

• Vegan mac and cheese

• The Rattler, a new sausage roll made with rattlesnake meat.

• The Grit Dog, a foot-long hot dog loaded with jalapeno cheese grits, chili, nacho cheese and pico de gallo.

• Brisket egg rolls, a bundle of smoked brisket, rolled up and deep fried.

• Crispy chicken tenders on top of biscuits, smothered in gravy.

• Blue Bell ice cream sandwiches where customers can choose their own ice cream flavor, served between two cookies.

This brand new and beautiful stadium looks amazing. While fans have yet to enjoy a Rangers’ game in the new stadium, some lucky fans have gotten an inside look.

The year 2021 cannot come fast enough, and we know for certain when it does fans will be flocking to Globe Life Field for some fun. There is no doubt visiting this park will be a fan experience like no other.
